BLOG | Grow with us in faith and love.

Dear Friends,

It is easy for us to list those qualities that we appreciate in others. We are naturally drawn to those people who are friendly, kind, helpful, generous, sincere, patient, and hospitable. These, among many other desirable traits, describe the kind of love to which Christians aspire. In the context of our faith, such love is first modeled to us by other disciples. We, in turn, are drawn to these earnest expressions of their love, and, more importantly, to the source of all love, which is God. In time, we are fashioned in Christ’s likeness to serve as his disciples. And once we have been transformed in the faith, we become vessels of that faith for others.

At the dawn of this new year, it is fitting for us to consider how we embody our Christian discipleship. Which desirable qualities do our neighbors see in us? What characteristics do we need to spend more time cultivating? How is God calling us to live out our faith?

May God bless you in abundance, in order that you might be a blessing to others.

Peace and best wishes,

Jon
