Enrich Your Spiritual Journey: Skidaway Community Church Book Club
If you’re looking for an enriching and inspiring experience to deepen your understanding of your faith, cultivate your role as a follower of Christ, and foster a sense of fellowship within your community, then the Skidaway Community Church Book Club is the perfect fit for you.
Our book club is a new initiative where we come together to explore thought-provoking books. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Skidaway Community Church (SCC), 50 Diamond Causeway. The first gathering is Thursday, June 15th.
At SCC’s Book Club, every voice is valued, fostering diverse perspectives and engaging conversations. Our program director, Joe Crotty, crafts thought-provoking questions to stimulate our discussions.
The inaugural book selection is “Love Does” by Bob Goff. This captivating read challenges readers to embrace risk, unconditional love, and endless possibilities. Goff’s powerful message underscores the transformative nature of love, motivating us to make a positive impact on our lives and the lives of others. You can borrow the book from the PINES Library System of Georgia or purchase it from local bookstores, Amazon.com, or digital platforms.
SCC’s Book Club is an excellent opportunity to enrich your spiritual journey, connect with like-minded individuals, and deepen your understanding of your faith. We invite both members and non-members of SCC to join us in person or participate remotely via Zoom on this adventure. Bring a friend to share in the journey.
Membership in the SCC Book Club is free, though we appreciate donations to cover refreshment costs.
